Melody is currently completing her Bachelor of Music, with a major in voice at Memorial University. She is working towards the Music Education Degree to pursue her dream of being a music teacher and choir director. Melody has always had a love for teaching and music. At the age of 14 she joined Air Cadets where she first discovered this passion through teaching classes there. She is now a volunteer Officer and helps lead weekly band practices. Melody has taken lessons in various instruments since the age of 6 years old. She studied guitar for 6 years and has a background in classical, musical theatre and pop style singing.

 

Melody believes that anyone is capable of learning music and that all students will have a different style of learning that works best for them. She feels that it should always be a fun and experimental experience.
